Hotels are among the first to benefit from service robots: a guest needs towels, a charger or a restaurant order quickly, and at night one person works at the front desk. A robot takes over the routine: it carries small items to rooms, cleans corridors and the lobby, greets guests and answers frequent questions. It cannot yet make beds or clean bathrooms, so it does not replace housekeepers.
Below we explain which robots a hotel needs, which models are in the SHKARAN catalog, what they can do and what to check in the building before buying.
Is there one robot that both cleans and delivers items to rooms
Among the models in the catalog there is no such universal robot. Delivery and cleaning are different tasks with different designs. A courier needs a closed compartment, code access and the ability to use elevators. A cleaner needs brushes, water tanks and strong suction. So hotels usually take two or three specialized robots that work on the same map of the building and do not interfere with each other.
Which robots a hotel needs
| Challenge | Which robot | What to look at |
|---|---|---|
| Bring towels, a charger or a restaurant order to a room | Courier robot with a closed compartment | Lock or code, elevator, door width, runtime |
| Carry linen, dishes and supplies in service areas | Heavy-load platform | Payload, platform size, passage width |
| Clean corridors, the lobby and the restaurant | Cleaning robot | Area, floor type, tanks, elevator, thresholds |
| Greet guests and answer questions | Reception robot | Languages, screen, navigation in the lobby |
Robots for delivery to rooms
The main requirement for a courier is that items do not fall into the wrong hands and that the robot reaches the right floor. The catalog has two models for such tasks.
- Keenon W3: the manufacturer positions it for private delivery and service across several floors. Up to 20 kg, speed up to 0.8 m/s, up to 12 h runtime, 6.5 h charging, passage from 70 cm, slopes up to 7°;
- PadBot W2: for hotels and business centers. Two independent closed compartments, code access, automatic routing and order scheduling. It can pass through automatic gates.

For heavy loads in service areas, such as linen or warehouse supplies, Keenon platforms are suitable: the S100 carries from 100 kg, the S300 up to 300 kg. They do not replace a courier for rooms, but they free staff from carts.

Cleaning robots
A cleaning robot in a hotel works where there is a lot of walkable area: corridors, the lobby, the restaurant zone, the parking lot. It will not clean rooms: that needs a person. Models in the catalog:
- Keenon KLEENBOT C40: dry and wet cleaning in one device, suction up to 23,500 Pa, cleaning width 40 cm, passage from 65 cm, thresholds up to 3.5 cm, works with elevators via the E-BOX module, 2 h charging;
- OrionStar CleaniBot K1: a vacuum for carpets: 20 kPa suction, up to 700 m²/h, up to 8 h runtime, 10 L dust container. Suitable for carpets in corridors;
- OrionStar CleaniBot M1: a floor-scrubbing machine: washes and dries floors up to 1,200 m²/h, refills and drains water by itself, charges without a person.

Reception robots and guides
In the hotel lobby a robot greets guests, tells them about services, shows ads on the screen and answers frequent questions. It does not replace the front desk administrator, but it relieves them at peak hours.
- Alpha Timo: 13.3" screen, weight 19 kg, up to 8 h runtime;
- Alpha Amy: a large 21.5" screen, lidar navigation up to 40 m;
- PadBot X3: two screens, voice interaction and multimedia presentations.

What to check in the building before buying
- width of doors, passages and elevator lobbies: the minimum passage of different models is from 65 to 70 cm;
- thresholds and floor level differences: the C40 cleaner overcomes thresholds up to 3.5 cm;
- elevators: for a robot to travel between floors on its own, integration with the elevator is usually needed; check compatibility with your elevator model in advance;
- connectivity: stable Wi-Fi or a mobile network along all routes;
- who loads the robot and how the guest receives the items: a code, a call to the room or a message;
- interface and dialogue language: Russian must be confirmed with the manufacturer for a specific model;
- service: spare parts, updates and on-site maintenance.
How much a hotel robot costs
We do not publish prices: the total depends on the model, the number of robots, delivery and the exchange rate on the payment day. Describe your hotel, the number of floors and the tasks, and we will select models and calculate the cost.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a robot that both cleans and delivers items to rooms?
Among the models in the catalog there is no such universal robot: delivery and cleaning require different designs. Hotels use a separate courier and a separate cleaner on the same building map.
Can a robot carry items to rooms on another floor?
Yes, if it can use an elevator. Keenon W3 is positioned for work across several floors, and Keenon KLEENBOT C40 works with elevators via the E-BOX module. Integration with the elevator must be checked separately for each building.
Will a robot replace a housekeeper?
No. It cleans common areas and delivers items, but it does not make beds or clean bathrooms. The housekeeper is freed from routine and focuses on rooms.
Which robots suit a small hotel?
To start, one courier robot and one cleaner for corridors and the lobby are usually enough. A reception robot can be added later.
How do I order a robot for a hotel?
Leave a request on the site: describe the hotel, the number of floors, passage widths and tasks. We will select a model, confirm availability and calculate the price with delivery.
