On July 17, ahead of WAIC 2026 in Shanghai, KEENON Robotics announced that, according to IDC, it ranked first worldwide in commercial service robot shipments for 2025. The company also maintained its lead in the delivery robot segment. Shipments of its cleaning robots grew by over 800% year-on-year. The global commercial service robot market exceeded 150,000 units in 2025, according to the same estimate.
KEENON operates over 100,000 robots across more than 70 countries and regions. Clients include Burger King, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hilton, BMW, and Lego. Some sites already have dozens of robots: Hotel Around Pyeongchang has 10 to over 20 units, while Trader Hotel by Shangri-La runs a mixed fleet of 8 robots of six types, including humanoids.
At booth H3-C201, the company showcased four real-world scenarios. In a café, the XMAN-R1 humanoid works as a barista with NOWWA Coffee: picking up cups, making coffee, and placing drinks under a latte art printer. In a hotel laundry, two humanoids load washing machines, retrieve clean linens, and fold them. In a dessert shop, a robot dispenses candies by color at the customer’s request; in a store, it finds items on shelves and hands them to shoppers. KEENON states all demos run autonomously, without teleoperation.
The company’s strategy: “universal humanoid plus specialized robot.” Humanoids handle manipulation, communication, and non-standard tasks. Routine operations are managed by DINERBOT delivery robots and KLEENBOT cleaning robots. The deployment principle: start with a specific role, then expand to versatility.
For buyers, KEENON’s leadership is built on wheeled delivery and cleaning robots with proven economics and a large installed base. The company’s humanoids are currently used in exhibitions and pilot projects. IDC rankings are based on unit shipments, not revenue, so they reflect supplier scale more than price or model capabilities.
