Pudu opens new headquarters and service robot showroom

A new company headquarters has opened in Shenzhen, along with a permanent center where you can see their robots in action, not just on slides. For buyers, this means you can finally try the equipment before ordering.

Pudu Robotics has opened a new global headquarters in Shenzhen. According to the company, the building project was personally overseen by founder and CEO Felix Zhang, with the design refined 13 times before the final version. The building houses R&D, operations, demonstrations, and partner relations under one roof.

The main difference from a typical office is the built-in experience center, which Pudu calls the world’s first for commercial service robots. Machines don’t just sit on pedestals—they work in real environments. At the entrance is a 'bridge' installation of PUDU D5 quadrupeds; on the floors are stands with PUDU CC1 cleaning robots (over 20,000 shipped), demonstrations of precise motion control, and showcases with components.

The company assigns four roles to the new building: AI and embodied intelligence R&D center, showroom for international clients and press, platform for joint projects with suppliers and research institutes, and a hub for hiring engineers.

The release also includes business figures. At opening, Pudu had shipped over 120,000 robots to more than 80 countries, with over 80% of revenue from overseas markets. The cleaning segment grew by over 100% year-on-year and now accounts for more than 70% of revenue. The company currently has four product lines: indoor delivery, commercial cleaning, industrial delivery, and general-purpose robots with embodied AI.

Felix Zhang called the opening the starting point for the company’s next decade—Pudu turns 10 in 2026. The goal: to become a robotics company with revenues in the hundreds of billions of yuan.

For buyers and distributors, the practical benefit is that the entire Pudu lineup can now be seen in action in one place, making it easier to compare models before ordering. This is especially valuable for cleaning robots, where results depend heavily on floor type and layout.
