About the model

Atlas is Boston Dynamics’ fully electric humanoid robot for factories and warehouses. The production version debuted on January 5, 2026 at CES, with manufacturing at the company’s Boston headquarters. Designed for sorting and delivering parts, machine tending, and order fulfillment.

Atlas is currently in early commercial rollout. All 2026 units are allocated: the first robots go to Hyundai RMAC Center and Google DeepMind, with other customers starting in 2027. Hyundai plans to deploy Atlas at the Metaplant America factory by 2028.
