Start with the action: carry trays, inspect rooms, demonstrate training algorithms, or clean the floor. Describe how the task is done now and the result you want. This is more useful than a long list of desired features.
Describe the workspace
Prepare a floor plan, photos of passages, and details about the flooring. Mark thresholds, stairs, elevators, doors, and areas with people. Ask the supplier to explain which environment features to check during the demo.
Schedule a demo
Create a short test scenario in conditions close to yours. Define in advance what will be considered a successful result, who will observe the process, and what limitations to note.
Check the package
Clarify what's included: batteries, charger, tools, software, and access rights. Request a list of paid options and subscriptions separately from the device price.
Prepare your team
Determine who will operate the robot, monitor its performance, and request support. Discuss training, instructions, and shutdown procedures.
