About the model

UR5e is a collaborative robot from the e-Series by Universal Robots, with a 5 kg payload and 850 mm reach. One of the most popular models on the market: according to the manufacturer, over 90,000 UR cobots delivered to customers by the end of 2024. UR5e is designed for medium-duty tasks: assembly, machine tending, packaging.

The flange features a built-in force/torque sensor on three axes, and 17 configurable safety functions certified to PLd Cat.3. Programming is done on a 12-inch touchscreen with PolyScope. The controller supports Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET/PROFIsafe, and ROS/ROS2, plus an interface for injection molding machines via Euromap 67.
