About the model

Ballie is Samsung’s home robot ball with a built-in projector. First shown at CES 2020, in April 2025 Samsung and Google Cloud announced Ballie would get Gemini models and launch in the US and Korea in summer 2025.

Important: Ballie never reached sales. In January 2026, it was announced that the release was postponed indefinitely, and Samsung now calls Ballie an “active innovation platform” within the company. Ballie is not available for purchase — this page is for reference only.
